In today’s hyper-connected marketplace of ideas, there is no shortage of experts. Our group has a distinctive shared background; all our research fellows and leadership mentors have either served in designated Ranger units, are graduates of the U.S. Army Ranger school, or both. This common experience allows us to address challenges with a perspective forged by arduous military service, proven leadership ability, and experience, facing the most demanding of circumstances. This hard won collective wisdom can be invaluable in solving problems or shaping leaders and their organizations.
As a 501(c)(3) The Ranger Leadership and Policy Center directs our talent resources along three lines of effort: study and analysis, leadership development programs, and public outreach and education. Our independent and nonpartisan expertise identifies the benefits of leadership applied to public and private groups across all sectors of government, military, business, academia, as well as the general public.
Understanding effective, moral leadership is the core of The Ranger Leadership and Policy Center. Our research shares our deep experience in team building, organizational development, leadership development, leadership in multicultural environments, leadership in national security, leadership in crisis, and leadership in resource-constrained environments.
Rangers operate at the forefront of the U.S. National Security effort. We share those perspectives through research on national defense strategy and execution, state competition special operations, terrorism, operating concepts and doctrine, intelligence, military spending, military readiness, cyber and operations security, and technology and automation.
The Ranger Leadership and Policy Center understands the strength of our nation comes from within. As past and present public servants, the organization will conduct research on how the Ranger community has been instrumental to governmental reform, education, addressing underrepresented populations, working with youth, and fulfilling the promises of our great nation for all Americans.
Peak performance of the mind, body, and fighting spirit are the hallmarks of the Army Ranger. Every Ranger has been through a physical crucible of arduous military selection, as such, we understand the benefits of holistic fitness. Our combat and training experiences have driven the science of human performance to advance. We now have opportunities to share what we’ve learned in the areas of functional fitness, individual resilience and recovery, training program development, nutrition and human performance, fitness-driven preventative healthcare and service longevity, and dealing with post-traumatic stress.
Every Ranger is a leader. At The Ranger Leadership and Policy Center, we are deeply connected with the challenges faced by leaders, regardless of their discipline or tenure, and seek to actively mentor any leaders seeking professional growth. We will offer tailored engagements ranging from distinguished speaker programs, battlefield staff rides, broad strategic analysis, and consultation for researching the data-driven advantages of reducing more specific organizational frictions.
